Austin Transit Partnership to host community user experience open house

November 15, 2023

Austin Transit Partnership has been working to design and build a Light Rail system that will enhance mobility choices in Austin, making it more accessible for all people. To seamlessly connect Austinites to key destinations, Austin Transit Partnership wants to see the city from the perspective of people who live, work and play in Austin. Seeing how the community uses current public transportation will give Austin Transit Partnership meaningful insight as they develop Austin’s Light Rail system.

Austin Transit Partnership would like to invite community members to its User Experience Open House where attendees will have the opportunity to learn and see how cognitive mapping hardware is providing crucial insight into different types of accessibility needs for the Austin Light Rail.

During this event, attendees will hear from expert leaders about how they are prioritizing the values and needs of the community by utilizing user feedback and the latest technology to map out the best possible user experience for the system. Attendees will also be encouraged to share their feedback with the Austin Transit Partnership team.
