DESCRIPTION:Small businesses: here’s your chance to meet industry partners and discuss opportunities within the Austin Light Rail plan. \nAre you a small business owner? Already DBE certified (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) or in the process? You’re invited!  Austin Transit Partnership (ATP)\, the independent entity responsible for delivering light rail in Austin\, is hosting an event to create connections with small business vendors to discuss proposal strategies for three upcoming Austin Light Rail contracts: planning work\, advanced utility engineering\, and conceptual engineering. \nDuring this free event\, attendees will hear directly from ATP on the project overview\, scopes of work in upcoming solicitations\, overall project timeline and how to do business with ATP. This event will include open space and time to foster new partnerships and cultivate opportunities.  Refreshments provided. \nTRANSPORTATION & PARKING \n\nWe are located at 203 Colorado St.  All attendees are encouraged to take advantage of CapMetro for travel to and from the event. Bus stops for MetroRapid 801 & 803\, as well as MetroBus 1 & 3 are conveniently located a few blocks near our office. So join us\, bring friends\, and let everyone know how much you want to keep Project Connect moving forward!
