DESCRIPTION:Peter Parks is a consultant with the City of Austin and is an urban planning expert. Peter will be discussing how Austin can best develop areas around transit stations affordably\, a critical piece of making sure Project Connect is successful. \nMr. Park teaches at the University of Colorado at Denver and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Previously\, he taught at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and coordinated the Joint Master of Architecture/Master of Urban Planning program.  \nSpecial thanks to sponsors AARP Texas and Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation. \nPlease RSVP for the in person lunch to Bill@Transitforward.org so we know how much food to buy. \nThis meeting will take place in the KLRU Community Room.
